What Do I Need to Make an Uncontested Divorce Work?
If your marriage just is not working. Perhaps you thought that you were in love but now just not so much anymore. Uncontested divorces may be the best option. In general—when your spouse and you can agree on most, if not all, of the financial and personal details the court would otherwise have to decide, including:
Asset Allocation. This includes your house, property and real estate, personal property vehicles, investments, monetary assets, retirement funds such as IRA , and other assets such as animals, kitchen tools, furniture, i.e.).
Child Custody and Financial Support. If children are involved, your spouse and you must be in full agreement regarding physical custody (living and visitation arrangements), legal custody (decisions regarding the legal rights of the child), who pays for health and medical insurance, the amount and frequency of child support paid and who claims the child for income tax purposes.
